Milton County, Georgia

1857 - 1932

• Milton County was formed from Cherokee, Cobb and Forsyth Counties Dec 18, 1857.
• Prior to Dec. 21, 1830 it was part of Cherokee Nation East.
• January 1, 1932 it merged into Fulton County.
• Alpharetta was the County Seat
• The County was named for John Milton.
